(This URL directs to your outlet\u2019s dedicated registration portal.) Share this copied URL with your outlet member(s) to complete their press badge registration. Your member(s) will need their Member ID credentials and Press Title to complete the registration process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>IMPORTANT NOTE: Limit the sharing of your copied URL only to the members you have approved to attend WonderCon 2025 on your outlet\u2019s behalf. Press Badge Registration for your outlet will close once all allocated press badges have been registered. Again, this URL is exclusively for your outlet\u2019s press badge registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have successfully completed the press badge registration process you will receive an order receipt email within 24 hours. Please check your SPAM inbox if you do not receive the order receipt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-overline\">BADGE SHIPPING<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have completed your registration by <strong>Thursday, February 13, 2025<\/strong>, your badge will be eligible for advance shipping. If eligible, your badge will be shipped to the \u201cPrimary Shipping Address\u201d that is listed on your Member ID as of Thursday, February 13, 2025.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that we cannot ship to international addresses. If your \u201cPrimary Shipping Address\u201d is outside of the United States, you must pick up your badge when you arrive on-site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-overline\">BADGE PICK-UP<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the convention approaches, we will send out barcode confirmation emails. If you do not receive your badge in the mail, bring your barcode confirmation email and a valid photo ID to the Press Desk in Hall D of the Anaheim Convention Center to pick up your press badge. Badge pick-up hours will be listed on the barcode confirmation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-large has-brand-primary-color has-text-color\">PRESS QUALIFICATIONS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We require that applying press outlets demonstrate a minimum of 18 months of continuous coverage. Freelance press members are required to provide an assignment letter from the outlet they wish to represent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-overline has-brand-primary-color has-text-color\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-bottom:0\">Press outlets are classified into five media types:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol style=\"padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Blog\/Podcast<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Broadcast Media (television or radio)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digital Media (online)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Documentary<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Print Media (newspaper or magazines)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Only one application per press outlet can be considered. The application must be submitted by the designated Outlet Key Contact (OKC), who will act as the primary liaison between the press outlet and SDCC. While there can be only one OKC per press outlet, it is permissible for an OKC to represent multiple outlets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s important to note that individuals covering solely on social media platforms or community forums do not meet our criteria for press badges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left is-style-x-large has-brand-primary-color has-text-color\">HOW TO APPLY AS PRESS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left is-style-overline has-base-white-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-621566a7fa262ed3f5c08976e87d5a77\">APPLICATION DEADLINE: Friday, January 10, 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">*Applications submitted after this date will only be considered for WonderCon 2025 on-site press registration. <br>Approval is not guaranteed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New outlets and returning outlets marked as \u201cNOT QUALIFIED\u201d must submit the Press Outlet Application to be considered for press badges at our conventions. Approval is not guaranteed.<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the application has been reviewed, the Outlet Key Contact will receive an email and the verification status of the outlet will be updated accordingly in their Member ID account.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Press outlet verification approval status is valid for two consecutive years, under the discretion of SDCC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong class=\"has-bold-text\">Are you freelancing?<\/strong> Freelance press members who would like to apply must submit a Press Outlet Application as their own Key Contact. The assignment letter must be from the press outlet assigning you. Freelance press members\u2019 verification will only be valid for the year approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-overline is-style-medium has-brand-primary-color has-text-color\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-bottom:0\">OUTLET KEY CONTACT<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong class=\"has-bold-text\">*<\/strong> The Outlet Key Contact (OKC) is the primary person responsible for facilitating communication between the press outlet and WonderCon\/Comic-Con. There can only be one OKC per press outlet. However, an OKC may be the OKC for multiple outlets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to submit the Press Application, the Outlet Key Contact must have a Comic-Con Member ID account.
