How do I attend as a member of the press?<\/summary>\n<p>Your Outlet Key Contact* must submit the Press Application by <strong>FRIDAY, JANUARY 10, 2025<\/strong> for Comic-Con 2025 consideration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em class=\"has-italic-text\">*Outlet Key Contact (OKC) is the primary person responsible for facilitating communication between the press outlet and Comic-Con. There can only be one OKC per press outlet. However, an OKC may be the OKC for multiple outlets.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your press outlet is approved, your Outlet Key Contact will be able to register for Comic-Con 2025 press badges once registration opens. You do not need to sign up for a new Member ID if you already have one.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>What is an Outlet Key Contact? Can my press outlet assign multiple people to be our Outlet Key Contact?<\/summary>\n<p>The Outlet Key Contact is the primary person responsible for facilitating all communication between the press outlet and Comic-Con. There can only be one Outlet Key Contact per press outlet. However, an Outlet Key Contact may be the Outlet Key Contact for multiple press outlets.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>My outlet\/company would like to attend Comic-Con 2025. Can we apply as an outlet\/company or will each person need to apply individually?<\/summary>\n<p>Only ONE application per outlet will be accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-small-text\">\n<li>If multiple members from your outlet wish to attend as press, your Outlet Key Contact* should only submit one application and list the additional members within it.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Individual members wishing to attend as press should submit the application for the outlet they intend to represent and designate themselves as the Outlet Key Contact. This would include freelance press members.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Your Outlet Key Contact* must submit the Press Outlet Application by <strong>FRIDAY, JANUARY 10, 2025<\/strong> for Comic-Con 2025 consideration.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em class=\"has-italic-text\">*Outlet Key Contact (OKC) is the primary person responsible for facilitating communication between the press outlet and Comic-Con. The new Outlet Key Contact must have their own valid and confirmed Comic-Con Member ID. Can I fax or email my press outlet&#8217;s press application and\/or verification materials?<\/summary>\n<p>No, Comic-Con is unable to accept any faxed or emailed applications or verification materials.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Why does my press outlet need to send in verification materials?<\/summary>\n<p>Comic-Con is able to provide complimentary press badge(s) to press outlets that meet the published guidelines. This requires you to provide information and examples of work in order for us to verify the legitimacy of the applying press outlet.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>How often does my press outlet need to send verification materials?<\/summary>\n<p>Press outlet verification approval is valid for two consecutive years (for example, approved press outlets for our upcoming convention will be valid for 2025 and 2026), unless earlier verification is requested by Comic-Con.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Freelance press members\u2019 verification will only be valid for the year approved.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>What if my Outlet Key Contact cannot provide verification materials supporting the press outlet?<\/summary>\n<p>If your Outlet Key Contact cannot, or chooses not to, provide the required verification materials, we suggest that you purchase an attendee badge, if available. A Press Application cannot be processed if your Outlet Key Contact does not provide verification materials. Simply listing press outlet information on the application is not considered verification.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>When will the Outlet Key Contact receive a response to the submitted press application?<\/summary>\n<p>Please allow 3 &#8211; 6 weeks for processing and review. All press applications are processed in the order in which they are received. The Outlet Key Contact will be notified via email if the press outlet has been approved or declined.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Our Outlet Key Contact submitted the Press Application with verification materials over six weeks ago, but has not yet received a response. Who should the Outlet Key Contact contact?<\/summary>\n<p>Once your Outlet Key Contact submits the Press Application successfully, they will receive an email receipt of the submission with the subject \u201cPress Application Submission \u2013 WonderCon and Comic-Con 2025.\u201d The Outlet Key Contact should forward this email to <a href=\"mailto:pressreg@comic-con.org\"><strong class=\"has-bold-text\">pressreg@comic-con.org<\/strong><\/a> for further assistance.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>My press outlet submitted the Press Outlet Application and was approved as press for 2025. Your badge will be mailed to the designated shipping address that\u2019s on file in your Comic-Con Member ID account as of that date. All badges will be shipped at least 3-4 weeks prior to the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Your shipping address will be marked with a gray \u2018Shipping\u2019 bubble.<\/strong> To add or update your shipping address, <a href=\"https:\/\/comic-con.configio.com\/\"><strong>log in to your Member ID account<\/strong><\/a> and click \u2018My Addresses\u2019 from your Account Dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your primary address is where you want badges mailed, click \u2018Edit\u2019, check the box next to \u2018<strong>Primary Shipping Address<\/strong>\u2019, and click \u2018Save.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your primary address is correct but you want your badges to be mailed elsewhere, click \u2018+Add Address\u2019. Enter your shipping address information, check the box next to \u2018Primary Shipping Address,\u2019 and click \u2018Save.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We cannot ship to international or international APO\/FPO\/DPO addresses.<\/strong> If you are an international attendee but have a US mailing address to which you\u2019d like your badge shipped to, click \u2018+Add Address.\u2019, and enter a domestic shipping address. We can no longer consider any additional press applications or requests for Comic-Con 2025.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>I would like to videotape\/film\/record a panel at Comic-Con 2025, am I able to do so?<\/summary>\n<p>Posting or airing more than 15 minutes of a panel without prior written consent from Comic-Con is not permitted. Live streaming is also not permitted. Registered press members that would like to videotape, film, and\/or record any matter that will be used for commercial purposes (non-news) must first obtain written permission from Comic-Con and any other participants being recorded. You must have a Comic-Con 2025 press badge to enter this room.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Please note: <\/em>You may not leave any personal belongings in this room. Details will be sent via email to registered press members prior to the convention.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>I would like to attend a certain panel at the convention, where do I enter?<\/summary>\n<p>A Comic-Con press badge does not give you early access, special access, or assigned seating to any of our panels or programming rooms.
